This year's honorees include Ian Crosby of Susman Godfrey, Stephenie Gosnell Handler of Gibson Dunn and Kritika Bharadwaj of Day Pitney.
We’re honored to introduce The 2025 Lawdragon 100 Leading AI & Legal Tech Advisors.
These are the brilliant advocates such as Ian Crosby of Susman Godfrey, leading the charge against Google, Microsoft and OpenAI for (allegedly) gobbling up intelligence that someone actually created for their AI missions. Gibson Dunn’s Stephanie Gosnell Handler knows her way around international trade and cybersecurity like few others, thanks in part to years leading McKinsey & Company’s cybersecurity strategy and seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps focused on logistics and political-military affairs. And Day Pitney’s Kritika Bharadwaj, who leads the firm’s internal use of AI while negotiating tech transactions on behalf of global corporations.
Not so long ago, AI advocates would have you believing a machine could have created a guide such as this. As with so much AI hype, we’d just say not so fast there bucko.
Instead, we created this – the 2nd edition of this guide – through submissions from law firms and others, journalistic research and vetting with experts in the area. What you’ll find here is a collection of the finest minds in Law & AI – a carnivorous intersection that’s making its way apace through legal disputes and law firm practice management. Also featured are legal technology and innovation gurus from law firms, legal tech companies, academia and enterprise. We’ve included some of the leaders of funded AI companies in the legal space, which drew more than $2B in backing in 2024. Outcome pending.
But that’s not the case with the confluence of tech in all its manifestations, the law and AI. It’s open and shut that technology is progressing through the law and its practice. And with the legal minds featured here, the best is yet to come.
