Richard Revesz, the dean of NYU Law since 2002, is stepping down from his post at the end of this academic year, in May 2013, the school announced this week. The school also said that Revesz will remain a tenured member of the faculty and serve as faculty director of the law school’s Institute for Policy Integrity.
In their letter to the NYU community, school president John Sexton and provost David McLaughlin praised Revesz for a number of accomplishments at the law school, including the recruitment of high-quality faculty from other schools, curriculum innovations, the establishment of new centers and fundraising, among others.
The WSJ Law Blog also conducted an interview with Revesz about the changes during his tenure and other topics.
