TED OLSON, appellate lawyer at Gibson Dunn, perenial member of our Lawdragon 500 guides for his high-profile Supreme Court work, including representing opponents of Prop. 8.
It was hard to ignore our many Vault photos of Gibson Dunn's Ted Olson, who is in the news this week for his Supreme Court advocacy for the opponents of California's gay-marriage ban. Hugh Williams took these for our 2009 Magazine. The work of Olson and his Bush v. Gore opponent David Boies also was detailed by Lawdragon publisher Katrina Dewey, in an article called The Romantics, when the gay-marriage case was at the district court level in San Francisco.
