New York, NY September 23, 2012: Cohen & Gresser will launch its Seoul, South Korea office in October 2012. Cohen & Gresser is the fourth U.S. law firm to win approval from the Korean government to open an office in Seoul under the recently ratified Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement. It plans to use this office to service its existing Korean clients and to grow its Korean practice.
Cohen & Gresser partner S.C. Sohn will lead the Seoul office. Mr. Sohn’s practice focuses on international arbitration, cross-border litigation, products liability, intellectual property, and international business transactions (including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital investments, and joint ventures). He also has substantial experience in technology transfers and licensing.
