DALLAS - Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Sarah M. Paxson as a partner in the Firm’s Dallas office. Ms. Paxson focuses her practice on patent infringement, trade secret and trademark litigation. In addition to providing litigation and litigation avoidance services, she counsels clients on licensing issues and proper development and management of intellectual property assets.
Since September, Gardere has added three experienced IP attorneys, including respected patent infringement litigator Paul V. Storm. Gardere’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice was recognized by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers® in the 2011-2012 “Best Law Firms” rankings.
As a member of Gardere’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, Ms. Paxson will handle a wide range of IP matters. Experienced in complex civil litigation and arbitration, Ms. Paxson is adept in representing clients on both sides of the docket. Ms. Paxson has represented clients in a wide variety of industries from manufacturers and airlines to credit card processors and retailers with a constant emphasis on understanding and furthering the client’s business goals in addressing intellectual property disputes.

Ms. Paxson earned her law degree from the Washington University School of Law and her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Texas Christian University.
