Proskauer Announces New Partners and Counsel

November 1, 2012 (New York) – Proskauer announced the promotion of six lawyers, three to Partner and three to Senior Counsel, across the firm’s practices and offices.

Partners

·Justin J. Daniels (Boston) is a patent litigator with vast experience representing clients in the software, entertainment, media, finance and pharmaceuticals industries.

·Martin T. Hamilton (New York) is a tax lawyer who represents clients with regard to a broad range of corporate, partnership and international tax matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments and structured financing in such industries as financial services, technology, insurance, real estate, health care and energy.

·Joseph C. O'Keefe (Newark) focuses his practice on labor and employment litigation and arbitration, representing clients, primarily in the financial services industry, in disputes before federal and state courts, arbitral tribunals and federal and state administrative agencies. 

Senior Counsel

·Brian L. Friedman (New York) is a litigator who represents clients with regard to complex financial services and securities litigation, arbitration and enforcement proceedings.

·Evandro C. Gigante (New York) focuses on labor and employment litigation, representing clients in a broad range of disputes, including allegations of race, gender, national origin, disability and religious discrimination, before federal and state courts, arbitrators and administrative agencies.

·Jordan B. Leader (New York) is a litigator who focuses his practice on sports law and international arbitration. He represents clients in complex contract, joint venture, licensing, fraud and antitrust disputes in federal and state courts and domestic and international arbitrations.
