Richard Farmer Joins Bracewell & Giuliani

New York (Feb. 14, 2013) – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced that Richard M. Farmer has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in its energy practice. Farmer joins the firm after more than 30 years of experience representing clients in the energy and infrastructure businesses. His practice is focused on energy and infrastructure finance, development and acquisitions, and public and private partnerships and privatizations. His clients are domestic and international developers, private equity funds, major Japanese trading companies and financial institutions. Farmer regularly represents clients in deals related to Latin America and Africa.

Farmer has effectively represented a number of international power developers, including a $500 million investment in the first REIT in the U.S. electric sector. He has provided strategic counsel for private equity funds in connection with the development and financing of projects in excess of $1 billion, including for airports, chemical plants and power plants.
