May 1, 2013 Seattle – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. Sharon Armstrong (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Armstrong will be based in the JAMS Seattle Resolution Center. She will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including Antitrust, Business/Commercial, Class Action/Mass Tort, Employment, Environmental, Government/Public Agency, Insurance, Personal Injury/Torts, Professional Liability, Real Property and Securities.
Judge Armstrong joins JAMS after 27 years as a judge on the King County Superior Court, where she tried a wide range of cases and was well-known for handling complex disputes. She also practiced law at Garvey, Schubert & Barer, where her practice emphasized complex civil litigation and served as a trial attorney for the Federal Trade Commission, handling trade regulation litigation.
