St. Louis - Armstrong Teasdale announces the following additions to its St. Louis office: Thomas E. Lowther, of counsel; Amy L. Merideth, associate; and Saraann S. Parker, partner.

Lowther, a member of the Corporate Services Group, provides counsel in the areas of corporate, public finance and business formations, acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and reorganizations. A highly experienced corporate lawyer with a diverse skillset, Lowther serves as a senior counselor to executives and business owners in estate planning. In the mergers and acquisitions area, Lowther manages transactions involving stock for cash, stock for stock, assets for cash, assets for stock and corporate spinoffs, split-offs and split-ups.

Admitted to practice in Missouri, he earned his J.D. from Washington University of Law and M.L.A. from Washington University. Lowther is a member of The Missouri Bar, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Merideth, a member of the Litigation practice group, concentrates primarily on matters alleging personal or catastrophic injury and wrongful death. A key area of her practice involves defending large companies, manufacturers, utilities, and their insureds against asbestos exposure claims. Committed to effective case management, she is well-versed in all phases of discovery, trial preparation and negotiation of settlements with opposing counsel. Merideth earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and B.A. from Washington University.

Parker, a member of the Corporate Services practice group, focuses her practice on the technology area, advising clients in a wide range of industries on technology transactions, Internet law, e-commerce and intellectual property matters. Representing technology developers, owners, business licensees and purchasers in all industries, including Fortune 500 and 100 companies, Parker drafts and negotiates software license and development agreements, outsourcing agreements, maintenance and professional consulting agreements, as well as website development, hosting and cloud computing agreements.

Admitted to practice in Missouri and California, she earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and B.S. from Boston University.
