October 22, 2013 (New York, Hong Kong) – Global law firm Proskauer announced today that Lynn Chan has joined the firm’s Private Investment Funds group as a Consultant resident in the Hong Kong office. Coupled with the recent appointment of noted private investment funds lawyer Yong Ren as a partner in Beijing, her addition extends the firm’s international private equity platform and its footprint in Asia.

Lynn's practice focuses primarily on the structuring and management of private investment funds, acting for both general partners and limited partners. She has advised a broad range of clients across Europe and Asia.
“Lynn’s knowledge of global fund structuring and regulatory issues will enhance our ability to counsel sponsors, managers and institutional investors in all aspects of their investment-related activities in Asia. Lynn joins the firm from O’Melveny & Myers where she served as counsel in their investment funds practice and worked in the Hong Kong and Singapore offices. She earned an LLB degree in Law and Chinese from the University of Leeds in England. She is an English and Mandarin speaker and is admitted to practice law in Hong Kong and England and Wales.
