Judith A. Mather Joins Skadden

Skadden is pleased to announce that Judith A. Mather has joined the Washington, D.C. office as Of Counsel in the Tax Controversy and Litigation Group. Judith Mather is an accomplished litigator with over 30 years’ experience. Many of the cases that she has tried involved complex valuation disputes, often in the context of the estate and gift tax and IRS regulatory matters. Ms. Mather also has substantial experience litigating commercial disputes, including shareholder rights cases and trust matters.

With a team of national tax controversy professionals, Skadden has handled some of the most significant litigated tax cases, both at trial and on appeal. We represent clients in every type of dispute resolution with taxing authorities, including at audit, in administrative appeal, in mediation and arbitration, and in international matters in competent authority proceedings.
