Los Angeles, Calif. (January 15, 2014)-- Parker Shumaker Mills LLP today announced that a prominent team of corporate and securities attorneys has joined the firm in a significant expansion of its corporate and securities litigation and transactional practice. The team includes Mark Hiraide, Vincent Hsieh, Gregory Keever and Roger Loomis, all veteran corporate and securities specialists with long-standing ties to the Los Angeles legal community.
Members of the team have practiced together over many years, including at one point, with the firm’s name partners David Parker, Charles Shumaker and William Mills. Hsieh, Keever and Loomis will be partners in the firm. Hiraide will be of counsel and will continue to manage his current firm, Petillon Hiraide.
“The depth of experience this group brings will add greatly to the array and scope of services we offer our clients,” says founding partner David Parker. “Mark, Vincent, Greg and Roger provide an exceptional combination of domestic and cross-border corporate transactional, securities and regulatory litigation expertise. Their backgrounds fit well with our firm’s current corporate and real estate practice.”
Dr. In-Sheng (Vincent) Hsieh, formerly with Kaye Scholer in Palo Alto, has significant experience in cross-border investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate and business transactions. He focuses his practice on telecommunications and communications, information technology, energy, technology licensing, logistics, infrastructure, media and entertainment.

Mark Hiraide represents directors, officers and financial service professionals in litigation relating to discharge of fiduciary duties and responsibilities under federal and state securities laws. Prior to founding Petillon Hiraide, he was an attorney for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he served as a branch chief in the Commission’s Division of Enforcement in Los Angeles and attorney-advisor in the Division of Corporation Finance in Washington, DC.
