Thompson & Knight Expands Employment Group

Dallas (February 5, 2014) – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to welcome Sarah W. Fitzgerald as an Associate in the Firm’s Trial Practice Group and Katy A. Mathews as an Attorney in the Firm’s Employment and Labor Practice Group. Fitzgerald will join Thompson & Knight in the Firm’s New York office and Mathews will join in the Dallas office.
“Both Katy and Sarah join us with skills and experience that make each of them an excellent addition to our team,” said Emily A. Parker, the Firm’s Managing Partner.
Fitzgerald focuses her practice on litigation and dispute resolution. Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, she received a J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2010, and an A.B., with honors, in History from the University of Chicago in 2005. Fitzgerald served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable William H. Pauley III in the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York in 2009 and to the Honorable Marcy L. Kahn in the New York State Supreme Court in 2008.
Mathews focuses her practice on employment and labor law. Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Illinois, and Texas, she received a J.D.,cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2009, and a B.A., cum laude, in History with minors in French and Psychology from Indiana University in 2005.
