DALLAS (May 14, 2014) National law firm Polsinelli welcomes William H. Church, Jr. as shareholder to bolster the firm’s commercial litigation capabilities in Texas and nationally. Church has 25 years of experience in all aspects of handling business litigation matters and serves clients in the oil, gas and electric industries. He joins a growing Dallas office, and a national team of attorneys with long history of representing Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts, as well as ADR forums and foreign jurisdictions.

Church has represented clients in all aspects of litigation, including arbitration and appeal, particularly on operational disputes and related regulatory proceedings. He has represented clients in several industries, including energy, construction and mining. Additionally, Church has handled matters related to health care, media law, securities and insurance disputes, and has spent considerable time advising clients on competitive issues, including antitrust, non-compete agreements and trade secrets.

Church earned his law degree in 1988 from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the SMU Law Review and was awarded the Order of the Coif. He earned an A.B. degree with honors from Duke University in 1985. Church is a member of the State Bar of Texas and holds court admissions to a variety of federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
