NEW YORK, NY (June 24, 2014) – Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph Ginsberg has joined the firm as partner in its Real Estate Practice. Ginsberg joins the firm from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he was formally partner in the New York office for a decade. Mr. Ginsberg’s practice focuses on the acquisition, development, financing and leasing of office, retail, industrial and residential properties and the structuring of various joint venture entities.

Mr. Ginsberg has counseled numerous real estate investors and funds in the acquisition of distressed real estate and debt as well as ground leasing. Ginsberg’s clients included developers, real estate funds, lenders and borrowers, various landlords and tenants. He represents lenders and borrowers in mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions throughout the United States.

Mr. Ginsberg received his B.S., from City University of New York, Brooklyn College in 1986 and his J.D from Columbia University School of Law in 1989. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Ginsberg currently resides in Teaneck, New Jersey.
