New York – June 30, 2014 – The international law firm Withers Bergman announced today that veteran attorney Dean Nicyper has joined the firm’s litigation practice. Mr. Nicyper, who is based in New York, joins from Flemming Zulack Williamson Zauderer LLP.
“Dean has an impressive record of successfully representing a wide breadth of clients in and out of the courtroom, bringing matters involving commercial disputes, art fraud, mergers and acquisitions, securities litigation, and intellectual property disputes to a favorable conclusion,” said Ivan Sacks, Global Chairman of Withers Bergman. “His expertise blends seamlessly with our existing litigation team in New York, adding powerfully to our depth in that group. Mr. Nicyper focuses on commercial disputes, securities litigation and investigations, art law, intellectual property and product liability, among other areas. He has handled trials and cases in federal and state courts around the country and his clients have ranged from major international investment institutions to the world’s leading art auction houses. He currently serves as Chair of the Art Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
