July 14, 2014 - The Lindt & Sprüngli Group, manufacturer of premium quality chocolate worldwide, today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire the U.S. family business Russell Stover Candies,Inc., headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Husch Blackwell LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP represented Russell Stover in connection with this transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Cravath team included partners Philip A. Gelston and Ting S. Chen (M&A) and partner Michael L. Schler (tax).
