M&A Attorney Andrew Hough Joins Ballard Spahr

ATLANTA (January 12, 2015) – Andrew R. Hough, whose corporate and transactional practice includes large mergers and acquisitions nationwide and internationally in technology and other growth industries, has joined Ballard Spahr as a partner in the Atlanta office, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced today.

Mr. Hough has 20 years of experience with a variety of transactions as well as general business matters, with a focus on M&A, private equity, venture capital, and outsourcing transactions. He represents fund sponsors and operating companies in an array of industries, including technology, communications, food and beverage, supply chain, health care, and aviation.

Mr. Hough’s experience also includes serving as a special assistant attorney general representing the State of Georgia in the procurement of more than $1 billion in outsourced services from information technology and communications vendors. He is licensed to practice in Georgia, Virginia, and New York, and has handled transactions throughout the United States and overseas. Before joining Ballard Spahr, he was a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, in Atlanta.
