Corboy's Murphy Re-Elected President of LAP

Corboy & Demetrio Partner Francis Patrick Murphy was sworn again in as President of the Lawyers’ Assistance Program on Nov. 14, 2014.  The Lawyers’ Assistance Program is a not-for-profit organization that helps Illinois lawyers, judges and law students as well as their families with alcohol abuse, drug dependency or mental health problems. 

“It’s an honor to serve again as President of LAP.  Each judge, lawyer and law student we help is a career—no, a life saved!” Murphy said.   LAP’s services include education, information and referral, peer assistance, and intervention.
