Jonathan Losk has joined Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, as a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses in the medical device, electronics, communications and computing industries, helping clients develop strategic patent portfolios.
Immediately prior to joining Knobbe Martens, Mr. Losk held several legal and technical positions at Fortune 500 medical device company St. Jude Medical, including Chief Patent Counsel, Associate General Counsel, Director of Strategic Innovation, and Vice President of the Electrical Engineering, Hardware Development, and Systems & Clinical Engineering departments.
His corporate experience focused on identifying, securing rights to, and commercializing disruptive and differentiating technologies in the cardiac rhythm management, heart failure, and neuromodulation markets. As a product development executive, Mr. Losk engaged in all aspects of design, development, manufacturing, clinical evaluation, regulatory submission, quality assurance, and sustaining engineering for Class III medical devices and systems. Mr. Losk has also worked in the aerospace industry as a systems engineer and program manager on numerous Air Force space defense, surveillance and communication systems.
