McGlinchey Stafford Adds Two Litigators

IRVINE, Calif., April 9, 2015—McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that litigators Evan Sorensen and Dhruv Sharma have joined the firm’s Irvine, California office.  The addition of these two attorneys bolsters the firm’s national commercial litigation practice.

Evan Sorensen, an accomplished trial lawyer with nearly two decades of experience, has joined the firm as Of Counsel.  Sorensen represents clients in complex commercial disputes primarily involving class action defense, employment, mass tort, financial services, bankruptcy and real estate issues.  He has successfully litigated cases in a variety of state and federal trial courts, and has won appeals at the state appellate levels, in addition to counseling clients on alternative dispute resolution and representation in both arbitrations and mediations.  Sorensen received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1995, and his B.S. from the University of Utah in 1992.

Dhruv Sharma has joined the firm as an Associate in the commercial litigation section.  Sharma represents banks and other financial institutions in state and federal court in matters involving mortgage litigation, contractual disputes, real estate litigation and bankruptcy proceedings.  He received his J.D., cum laude, from the Chapman University School of Law in 2011; his M.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007; and his B.S., with honors, from the University of Guelph in 2006.

McGlinchey Stafford first joined the Irvine business community in 2013 and has since grown to half a dozen lawyers representing clients in consumer financial services and commercial litigation.
