DALLAS – The Dallas-based Aldous Law Firm is adding partner Brent Walker to the firm’s name and will continue representing clients as Aldous \ Walker in a variety of civil litigation matters.
Mr. Walker has been with the firm for six years. During that time, he has played a pivotal role in every courtroom victory and significant settlement negotiated by the firm, including the multimillion-dollar sexual abuse verdict against the Episcopal School of Dallas that earned international headlines.
“For the past six years, Brent has been at my side through all of our important cases,” says firm founder and noted trial attorney Charla Aldous. “He has a tremendous ability to identify and then assemble the legal arguments necessary to prevail in court, and he knows how to convey things to jurors in a manner they can understand. It just makes sense that the firm should carry his name as well as mine.”
Mr. Walker has significant experience representing plaintiffs before juries, in addition to significant appellate experience. His legal work includes personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths. On the commercial side, his cases have included breach of contract and fiduciary duty litigation. Prior to joining Aldous \ Walker, he worked for another personal injury firm and a firm that concentrated on health care law.
“I’ve always had a tremendous amount of respect for Charla and all that she has accomplished in her legal career, going back to even before I came to work here,” Mr. Walker says. “I consider Charla to be the best trial lawyer in this country. For her to put my name up next to hers is both a great compliment and a great responsibility.”
Mr. Walker is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the Board of Directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He has earned selection as a Texas Super Lawyer for the last two years, and has been honored on D Magazine’s The Best Lawyers in Dallas, the Texas Rising Stars list, and the National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 40 Under 40.
Aldous \ Walker represents clients in general civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability and wrongful death lawsuits. More information about the firm can be found at http://www.aldouslaw.com.
