Paul Freese Joins NLSLA

Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLSLA) is pleased to announce that Paul L. Freese, Jr. will join our team as Director of Litigation & Policy Advocacy.  Paul comes to NLSLA with more than 20 years experience in legal services, most recently as Vice President at Public Counsel.

Paul has been responsible for helping grow advocacy programs and developing best practices to empower distressed households, eliminate legal barriers to entering the workforce, humanize our criminal and juvenile justice systems, and end homelessness.  Paul also has extensive experience in professional development; he has supervised staff of over 60 attorneys and has been a champion for cultivating attorneys and advocates.  Paul will be leading new and current policy advocacy initiatives and developing the talent within NLSLA.
