MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (August 2015) -- Jan Conlin, a founding partner with the Minneapolis law firm of Ciresi Conlin LLP, has been inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL). The Academy invites only lawyers who have attained the highest level of advocacy.
IATL limits membership to 500 fellows from the United States, and seeks out and honors those who have achieved a career of excellence in jury trials, trials before the court and appellate practice. Conlin was evaluated and highly recommended by distinguished members of the trial bar by means of both peer and judicial review.
Conlin has a long record of leading high-stakes intellectual property and business-critical litigation. Known for her trial and examination skills, she uses her well-honed expertise in the areas of trial strategy and risk assessment to find unique business resolutions for litigation-based conflicts of all sizes.
Earlier this year, Conlin become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in America. Conlin is extensively involved in the community and has served in multiple board-leadership positions, including The Minneapolis Foundation, Catholic Charities, Minnesota Orchestral Association, St. Thomas Law School, Minnesota State Bar Association, Civil Litigation Section Governing Council, University of Minnesota Law School, and is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Patent Remedies. Conlin is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota Law School.
