PITTSBURGH, Oct. 1 -- The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Andrew R. Stanton has joined the Pittsburgh Office as a partner in the Business & Tort Litigation Practice. He was formerly a partner with K&L Gates LLP in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Stanton's practice has focused on insurance coverage, commercial disputes, and government enforcement issues. He has successfully tried state and federal court cases in numerous jurisdictions, argued multiple appeals, and represented clients before various arbitral tribunals. His industry experience includes manufacturing, energy, mining, metals, specialty chemicals, industrial equipment, financial services, health care, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products.
