Norton Rose Fulbright Elects Lansdale as US Managing Partner

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright announced today the election of Daryl L. Lansdale, Jr. as its US Managing Partner, effective Jan. 1, 2017. Lansdale will succeed Linda L. Addison.

Lansdale also will succeed Addison as Chair of the US Management Committee, the ninth person to hold this position since the firm’s US practice began in 1919. He currently serves as the Head of Norton Rose Fulbright’s US Business Practice.

Addison, the first woman elected Norton Rose Fulbright’s US Managing Partner, commented:

Lansdale, who will be responsible for Norton Rose Fulbright’s US operations and strategy, said:

A partner since 2001, Lansdale earned his JD from Southern Methodist University School of Law and his BBA from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating magna cum laude.

Lansdale concentrates his corporate and securities practice on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and public company reporting and corporate governance matters, representing companies in the energy, life sciences and information technology industries. He has extensive experience representing private equity firms and public companies in their acquisitions and divestitures, and issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings.
