San Francisco, CA — Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce the addition of commercial and employment litigator Brian P. Maschler as a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. Mr. Maschler joins the firm’s nationally recognized Complex Litigation practice and focuses on disputes involving securities, RICO, antitrust, intellectual property, contracts, employment law, and business torts, with a special emphasis on defending complex class actions. He also represents clients in white collar criminal defense, civil rights and ADA matters, handles corporate investigations, and provides regulatory compliance advice and guidance.

Previously a partner at Gordon & Rees LLP, Mr. Maschler represents financial institutions, accounting firms, manufacturers, and other business in complex litigation matters involving creditors’ rights, workouts, FDCPA matters, fraudulent conveyances, and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy.
Mr. Maschler is a member of the San Francisco and California Bar Associations. He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of California Berkeley and his law degree with honors from the University of Michigan.
