Buchalter Expands Footprint in Napa Valley

Los Angeles, November 28, 2016 – Buchalter is pleased to announce that Carrie Gallagher has joined the firm’s Napa Valley office as a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining Buchalter, Ms. Gallagher was Deputy County Counsel at the Office of the County Counsel in Napa Valley for 13 years. 

As a Deputy County Counsel, Gallagher represented various county agencies in their proceedings and has significant experience drafting and reviewing policies, contracts, agreements, subpoenas, and ordinances. She also has extensive civil trial experience, including numerous bench trials and appeals. Gallagher earned her J.D. at the University Of San Diego School Of Law and her B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara.

The Duckhorn acquisition is just one example of how the firm has established an impressive reputation in the wine industry, having opened its fifth office in St. Helena/Napa Valley with the addition of Shareholder James Rose and Katharine Falace last year.  Further solidifying the firm’s presence in Napa, James Rose was also recently elected the Vice President of the Napa County Bar Association. He will serve as President of the organization in 2018.
