Three Liner LLP Lawyers Promoted to Partner

December 2016 – Liner LLP today announced that three attorneys from their Westwood office have been promoted to partner effective January 1, 2017:  Ashley Yeargan, in the Entertainment Litigation department; John Karavas, in the Real Estate department; and Pamela Woods, in the Insurance Recovery department.

Ashley R. Yeargan joined Liner’s Entertainment Litigation department in 2009 and has represented a variety of clients in the media and entertainment industry, including actors, directors, writers, producers, musical artists, managers, small studios and production companies, and video game companies. Ashley focuses her practice on matters involving defamation, rights of privacy and publicity, copyright and trademark infringement, and breach of contract.

John D. Karavas joined Liner LLP in 2012 and specializes in a broad range of commercial and residential real estate and corporate related matters throughout the country, including acquisition and disposition, development, leasing, financing transactions, construction and joint venture formation.  John represents developers, landlords, tenants, sellers, buyers, borrowers and commercial lending institution of all sizes (from pension funds to entrepreneurs) and sophistication levels

Pam Woods joined as Counsel in Liner’s Insurance Recovery Group in 2015. She also focuses on appellate work and trial and law and motion advocacy. In addition to her insurance coverage experience, she has civil litigation experience in a wide range of areas, including products liability, securities fraud, toxic torts, and contractual disputes.
