NEW YORK, January 24, 2013 -- Arnold & Porter LLP announced today that C. Scott Lent has joined the firm’s antitrust and litigation practices in its New York office as counsel. Mr. Lent’s broad-based antitrust practice spans numerous complex M & A transactions, civil and criminal investigations, commercial litigation and general counseling. He represents clients before many government and regulatory agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice, as well as state antitrust authorities.
Mr. Lent’s practice focuses on the media and entertainment, telecommunications, building materials and healthcare industries. He has advised such companies as Cemex and IASIS Healthcare. Mr. Lent also maintains a sports law practice and has counseled league and team clients regarding various matters.
He joins Arnold & Porter from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York.
