Finance Attorney Todd Reece Rejoins Ballard Spahr

SALT LAKE CITY (December 11, 2014) – Todd A. Reece, who advises clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, has rejoined Ballard Spahr as a partner in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced today.

Mr. Reece assists clients with general business matters, mergers, acquisitions, financings (including venture and private equity), securities, joint ventures, licensing matters, internal investigations, and compliance matters.

Mr. Reece’s arrival will enhance Ballard Spahr’s business and finance capabilities in Utah and throughout the West. The firm’s Salt Lake City office, opened in 1987, is home to nearly 40 lawyers serving clients nationwide in business and finance, public finance, litigation, labor and employment, and real estate.

Mr. Reece’s clients include manufacturing companies, professional services companies, life sciences companies, and technology companies, among others. He will be a member of Ballard Spahr’s Business and Finance Department and the Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity, Transactional Finance, and Life Sciences and Technology Groups.

Mr. Reece was with Ballard Spahr for six years before taking a position as partner at a local law firm in Salt Lake City.
