Attorney Barry Landy joins Ciresi Conlin

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (January 2016) – Attorney Barry Landy has joined the Minneapolis law firm of Ciresi Conlin LLP.  Landy will focus his practice on complex litigation.

Landy is experienced in the areas of class action defense, financial services litigation, white collar crime and civil fraud, breach of contract, and internal and governmental investigations.  He practices in both federal and state courts and has briefed motions and appeared in courts across the country.

Prior to joining Ciresi Conlin, Landy was a class action defense and financial litigation attorney for Stinson Leonard Street LLP.  He also was a business litigation attorney for Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan Richard Nelson, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Landy earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. from University of Minnesota Law School, where he also was an articles editor of the Minnesota Law Review.  He is an active member of the Hennepin County Bar Association and co-chair of the Civil Litigation Section.  He also is a member of the Federal Bar Association and Minnesota State Bar Association, and a volunteer attorney for Advocates for Human Rights and the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota.
