Foley Expands Global PEVC Bench

NEW YORK – Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Peter Eccles has joined the firm’s Private Equity & Venture Capital Practice as a partner in the New York office.

Eccles brings extensive experience leading cross-border private equity and venture capital matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, general corporate and commercial arrangements, as well as counseling clients in complex multi-jurisdictional securitization and project finance transactions.  Eccles has advised emerging growth companies and investors in the health, education and technology sectors on corporate matters and venture capital financings in Brazil, and has also represented Brazilian and other Latin American issuers raising capital in the global credit and equity markets.

In addition, Eccles has experience working with a major credit rating agency on novel financings involving leading companies in the energy, oil and gas, shipping, infrastructure, real estate, mining, automotive, retail, agribusiness, banking, aviation, tourism, media and telecommunications industries in Latin America.
