New York – March 12, 2025 – Greenspoon Marder expands the firm’s Real Estate practice group with the addition of two new partners, Jay H. Kim and Lisa R. Radetsky, and senior counsel, Jillian K. Markowitz in the New York office. This growth highlights the firm’s continued commitment to regional development, with six new lateral partners welcomed over the last six months in New York.

Ms. Radetsky is well versed in transactional matters related to condominium and cooperative ownership. She specializes in acquiring, financing, constructing and converting properties. Additionally, she advises both landlords and non-profit organizations on leasehold condominium structures to secure tax exemptions for non-profit organizations. She also provides due diligence for lenders on condominium matters and creates organizational structures for her clients.

Mr. Kim focuses his practice on representation of commercial lenders, advising buyers and sellers on both commercial and residential real estate deals. He maintains a focus on commercial real estate loans, construction financing, mezzanine financing, SBA financing, commercial and office leasing, construction financing, preferred equity, and joint ventures.

Mr. Kim is a trusted advisor with a wealth of experience in providing representation for commercial lenders, commercial and residential investors and developers, and office and retail leasing.

Ms. Radetsky also has extensive experience in transactional matters, including acquisitions, sales, lending transactions, such as construction financing and mezzanine lending, and leasing. She previously served as co-chair of the Real Estate practice at a mid-sized law firm in New York.

Ms. Markowitz represents lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial real estate and SBA 7(a) lending. She also represents purchasers and sellers of cooperative and condominium apartments, as well as multi-family properties in New York. Her practice encompasses aspects of copyright law, trust and estate planning, and real estate litigation.
